What We Believe FBC Danville, AR
  • What does Danville fbc believe?

We believe the Bible is God's Word and is true, authoritative, and applicable to our lives.

Because of that, Scripture is central to our preaching, teaching, Bible studies, ministries, and decisions as a church.

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the only one who can reconcile sinful people to God.

Jesus lived without sin, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, reigns as Lord, and will return as He promised.

  • How can a person be saved?

Salvation is a gift of God's grace received through faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe every person has sinned and needs reconciliation with God. We are called to repent of our sin and trust in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ rather than trusting in our own goodness or religious works to save us.

  • What does FBC Danville believe about baptism?

We practice baptism by immersion for those who have personally trusted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

Baptism does not save a person. It is an act of obedience that publicly identifies a believer with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.
